South Yorkshire LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Project

Are you LGBT+ in South Yorkshire?

Have you experienced violence, controlling behavior and/or sexual abuse in a relationship?

Domestic Abuse services across South Yorkshire want to be more accessible to LGBT+ people (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and other minority sexuality and/or genders) but they need your help. Over the next year we will be working on a project to help improve access to services for LGBT+ people.

Come along to our LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Advisory Group and have your say.

  • Share opinions and help identify gaps or barriers to accessing services

  • Highlight good practice

  • Help shape the project and influence service provision

This group will meet monthly, rotating between Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley. (We can refund travel within South Yorkshire)

The first meeting will be:

Wednesday 15th May 2pm – 4pm at SAYiT, Scotia Works, Leadmill Road, Sheffield , S1 4SE (refreshments provided)

The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any other accessibility requirements or queries please contact us. Feel free to just come along or contact us in advance for a chat if you want any more info. If you would like to attend but these times aren’t suitable for you, let us know so we can adjust times for future meetings or let you know other ways you can get involved.
